Prophecy Update 2018-06-03

Sunday, 03 June 2018

-For today’s update I want to talk about where the recent developments may in fact be heading in terms of prophetic fulfillment. -Specifically related to what we know scripture describes in some detail concerning how the players and pieces are put in place. -Even more specifically as it relates to the world having an insatiable quest for peace, which in the end brings about destruction.

Daniel 8:25 -And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 -For while they are saying, “Peace and security!” sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 -9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

-I would suggest that we’re seeing said deception and it’s a matter of time until we’re taken out and the antichrist is revealed. -I’ll take it a step further and also suggest that there’s this distraction that feeds the deception, which will lead to the destruction. -This is a textbook tactic of the enemy, and this across the board in every arena of life, certainly when it comes to eschatology.

On Wednesday, Ynet News published an interesting report about how Education Minister and Security Cabinet member Naftali Bennett said Iran is behind the Gaza escalation in order to distract Israel from fight against it. Quoting Bennett, "Escalation on the Gazan side was not coincidental. The mind is Iranian, while the hands belong to Hamas." "Israel is in a focused, consistent campaign against the head of the Iranian octopus, which operates its tentacles in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza to harm Israel. Iran is trying to distract us by manufacturing provocations in Gaza through one of its tentacles," he theorized.,7340,L-5274654,00.html

It may very well be the aforementioned distraction was one reason we didn’t see all out war in the month of May. The Jerusalem Post had a telling article in this regard and I want to share with you some excerpts from it. “Undoubtedly the ingredients were in place …that could have led to an explosion. On paper, the month of May swept in some of the most combustible elements at one time the region has seen in years. Iran was entrenching itself in Syria and threatening revenge for alleged Israeli attacks on Iranian assets in Syria; US President Donald Trump was going to decide on the future of the Iran nuclear deal; the “Great Return March” was continuing in the Gaza Strip; the Palestinians were to mark Nakba Day, the “Day of Catastrophe,” marking Israel’s independence; the US was going to move its embassy to Jerusalem; and Ramadan, a month often accompanied by terrorism and violence, was to begin. All the ingredients were in place, some feared, for an all-out explosion. Yet, despite some tense and ugly days – specifically May 14 – the all-out explosion did not materialize. ... Why? Because alongside the combustible elements, there are forces working on the ground to prevent matters from spiraling out of control.”

It’s my belief that the forces working to prevent matters from spiraling out of control are not on the ground, but it’s none other than the Holy Spirit Who is the restrainer that Paul refers to as being taken out of the way, when the church is removed at the rapture. Listen to what else the Apostle Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 -7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. – In other words, the antichrist can’t be revealed until the church is removed.  Then when that happens, the world will embrace this man of peace.

It seems to me that the world is ready for this man like never before as evidenced by this Jerusalem Post article about how the veteran Zionist Union MK Eitan Cabel caused an uproar over the weekend, when he announced his support for applying Israeli law to West Bank settlement blocs while freezing construction beyond the blocs until both Israel and the Palestinians have what he called “a Nelson Mandela.”

There’s one more thing that I think I would be grossly remiss to not mention and it’s that of seriousness of the situation on the Big Island. On Friday, Fox News published a report about how Big Island Mayor Harry Kim has issued a mandatory evacuation order for Leilani Estates. …The Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency said in a statement that those remaining in the mandatory evacuation area beyond the deadline “do so at their own risk, with the knowledge that emergency responders may not respond. …“Refusing to evacuate may put you, your family and first responders in danger,” the county agency added. “Heed warnings from Civil Defense officials and stay alert.” The reason I mention this is because, like with the volcanic eruptions, so too are there prophetic eruptions, and as such, we too must heed the warnings before it’s too late.

-It’s for this reason that I’ve been sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ by way of the ABC’s of Salvation at the end of each update. -Before we partake together of communion, I’d like to share with you a letter I received this last week from an online member. -I do so with the hope that it will bless and encourage you as much as it did me about the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dear Pastor Farag, Just wanted to thank you for your message on “Salvation is as simple as ABC.”  The evening your message was watched the Holy Spirit stirred within me.  Don’t know how many times your message was paused but just kept writing and pausing until your entire message was captured.  We have ministries here where we are always witnessing to so many people that our God brings across our path and we are so honored to actually be witness to the Holy Spirit in action.  God spoke to me and prompted me to write down your message so we could pass on these words to those that God has prepared for them to hear.  Recently my neighbor asked if I would pray at her son’s first annual memorial fundraiser.  My neighbor’s son died in a car accident last May 17th. Had two hundred of the “Salvation Simple Cards” printed and took them with me to the event.  Shared a message that our God put on my heart.  And then the “Salvation Simple Cards” were handed out.  Afterwards my wife and I did not stay too long and arrived home a little discouraged, and feeling the message could have been delivered better.  Satan was at work, but the words were God’s Words and our God reminded me that it was not my lack of skill but it was His Words that carried the day.  I thanked God for comforting me, but felt maybe I could have done better for our God.  About a couple of hours later, after the event was finished, my neighbor came over to the house and with tears in her eyes she thanked me for the message and went on to say: “People, young and old, were weeping when listening to what was said and they were clutching the cards that you game them and not one of those cards were left behind, not one.  Our family is so thankful and encouraged by what was said and for the message on those cards you brought with you.”  Well pastor, that’s just one story of the impact of the message of “The ABC’s of Salvation.”  It was not what was said or how it was said, it was the power of the Holy Spirit using someone who just said: “Yes, Lord use me.”  Bless you, and keep up your great work.  Will be staying tuned into your messages and watching how the Holy Spirit is guiding you. You’re brother in Christ, Richard Gieson -Sarasota, Florida

The ABC’s of Salvation -A is for Admit you’re a sinner – Romans 3:23 says that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The B is for Believe. Romans 10:9-10 says if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. The C is for Call. Romans 10:9-10 also says if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:13 says that all who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
