Prophecy Update 2018-04-08

-For today’s prophecy update, I will need to once again ask that you bear with me as I sort through everything that’s happening. -Since our last update two weeks ago there have been significant developments related to three specific prophecies in the Bible. -Isaiah 17:1 concerning Syria, Ezekiel 38 concerning Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, and Zechariah 12 concerning Jerusalem.

-Please know that I in no way wish for what I’m about to say to in any way to be perceived as hyper-sensational or provocative. -I truly believe with all my heart that we are witnessing the aforementioned prophecies beginning to come to pass very quickly. -I’m hoping to present the case for the soon fulfillment of these prophecies and perhaps more importantly, what it means for us.

I’ll begin with this Haaretz article on Wednesday, about Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Vladimir Putin of Russia and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani holding their second summit to discuss Syria’s future. The first time these three leaders met was in Sochi, Russia, last November.

On Friday, The Jerusalem Post published an article about the fallout from the Turkey-Iran-Russia meeting. In it they say that the “Iranian regime media is boasting after a successful summit in Turkey with the Turkish, Russian and Iranian presidents. But Iran was not the only winner at the meeting designed to discuss the future of Syria. Russia and Turkey both feel that they are achieving their goals in Syria at the expense of the US. …The problem is that the US has no clear plan now for Syria, while its adversaries appear to have one.

Newsweek echoed this on Tuesday in an article about how Russia, Turkey and Iran are planning Syria’s future without the US, noting; the U.S. and other Western countries were conspicuously absent from the meeting. The article goes on to say how that consensus between the three regional superpowers also works to highlight how irrelevant U.S. policy toward the region has become…

This should come as no surprise given the announcement that Trump wants to withdraw the US from Syria. According to this Times of Israel report, “A phone call Wednesday between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump grew tense over Israeli objections to US plans to leave Syria, US administration officials said Wednesday, adding that Trump wants to pull out all troops within six months to the dismay of the country’s main security agencies and allies. …Trump has asked Saudi Arabia, which is keenly interested in keeping Iran out of Syria, to contribute $4 billion toward reconstruction and stabilization efforts that the US no longer plans to undertake. He came away from a phone call Monday with King Salman confident that the king will agree to give the money, two US officials briefed on the conversation told AP.

Doubtless you’ve heard the expression, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” This is certainly the case with Saudi Arabia, America, and perhaps more significantly, Israel. On Tuesday, Fox News published a report about how Saudi Arabia's crown prince slammed Obama's Iran nuclear deal and backed Israel's right to exist. ...Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was also quoted as saying, “Hitler didn’t do what the supreme leader [of Iran] is trying to do," …"Hitler tried to conquer Europe. This is bad. But the supreme leader is trying to conquer the world. "He is the Hitler of the Middle East." "He believes he owns the world. They are both evil guys. He is the Hitler of the Middle East. In the 1920s and 1930s, no one saw Hitler as a danger. Only a few people. Until it happened."

Al Arabiya published a report about the father of the Prince, Saudi Arabia's King Salman, having a telephone conversation on Monday evening with US President Donald Trump, in which he discussed regional updates. …the king expressed his thanks and appreciation to Trump for the way in which the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was received during his US tour, and the "fruitful meetings and the signing of important agreements that benefit the two friendly countries." …King Salman stressed on the international effort needed to move forward the Middle East peace process, as well as stressing on the kingdom's steadfast positions on the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. …The king also stressed the need to find a solution to the Syrian crisis that fulfills the aspirations of the Syrian people.

-As I mentioned at the beginning I wanted to argue the case for the soon fulfillment of those three very specific Bible prophecies. -This because, everything is coming together exactly as we’re told it would at the time of the end right before the Lord’s return. -As such, the implications of this are of paramount importance as it relates to every single one of us, whether Christians or not.

-First as it relates to those of us who are Christians, none of these prophecies need to take place before the rapture takes place. -They need only to begin to take place for us to know that our redemption draws near, which is what Jesus said in Luke 21:28. -Dare I say that Christians need to look up, and some Christians as well as non-Christians need to wake up before it’s too late.

John 14:29 -I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.

-If you’ve never called upon the name of the Lord to be saved, I would like to share the good news of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

The ABC’s of Salvation – The A is for Admit you’re a sinner, (Romans 3:23). The B is for Believe, (Romans 10:9-10). The C is for Call, (Romans 10:9-10 13).
