Prophecy Update 2017-01-08

Sunday, 08 January 2017

-For today’s prophecy update, I would like to draw your attention to what may very well be the biggest prophetic triggers in 2017. -You’ll forgive the metaphor, but I believe the bullets are in the chamber, and it’s just a matter of time before the trigger is pulled. -What follows are what I would argue are the two biggest triggers both of which have Israel, namely, Jerusalem as the bulls eye.

The first prophetic trigger is the upcoming Middle East Peace Conference just seven days from today in Paris France, when 70 nations will meet concerning UN Security Council Resolution 2234, which passed unanimously vis-à-vis Obama’s US abstention.  I happened upon a most interesting article published by Breaking Israel News, in which the question is asked, “Did Obama Just Set Off Gog and Magog? “Redemption advocate Eli Soble connected the US abstention from the latest anti-Israel vote in the UN Security Council to the advent of the great war of Messianic days in a video that has gone viral since its release on Facebook on December 26. In this video which has been viewed more than 26,000 times, Soble asserts that it’s “a sign of redemption, a sign that Moshiach is close” that the nations are trying to take Jerusalem and Israel away from the Jewish people. “The great Jewish prophecy of Gog and Magog is…the last great barrier before we reach redemption, and it’s appearing, it’s materializing, right before our eyes,” Soble announced. He mentioned a recent news article in Reuters about the upcoming Middle East peace conference scheduled for January 15 in France. …Soble explained that the Torah considers the phrase “70 nations” to symbolize all the nations of the world, even if the actual number exceeds 70. Soble retold the Jewish teaching that Sennacherib was supposed to be Gog when he came against Jerusalem in the time of King Hezekiah. He called Sennacherib an avowed atheist and narcissist. Without actually pointing a finger directly, Soble made the point that President Obama’s recent move in the UN Security Council echoes the narcissistic flaw of Sennacherib. … As Soble described it, “the nations will come up with a plan to take Eretz Yisrael (Israel) and Hashem (God) will thwart their plans and it will lead to the revelation of Moshiach (Messiah).” Soble encouraged his viewers to understand that this UN vote, and the upcoming meeting in France, are part of the messianic process and not to be fooled into thinking they are purely political maneuvers. … He ends on an upbeat note, by reminding people that “Moshiach is very close, the redemption is very close. We have to take heart and be joyous and improve ourselves as much as we can… and add in goodness and kindness in the context of Moshiach.”

The second prophetic trigger is the moving of the US embassy to Jerusalem, as evidenced by this Jerusalem Post report about the threat of the 'Bloodshed that will follow if Trump moves US embassy to Jerusalem'. According to the report, The Palestinians will start a new violent uprising if Donald Trump's incoming White House administration relocates the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a senior Fatah official indicated this week in an interview translated by MEMRI. "I believe that any American act of stupidity will ignite the Palestinian territories," Fatah Central Committee member Sultan Abu al-Einein told Egypt's Alghad TV on Sunday. Al-Einein, an aide to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, also pointed to Israeli "arrogance" and settlement activity along with the potential US maneuver as provoking Palestinian violence. "We must prepare for a confrontation with the new US administration, which has clearly and audaciously declared that Israel and its settlements are legitimate and legal," he asserted. The Palestinian official charged that Washington and Jerusalem "will bear responsibility for the return of the bloodshed in the Palestinian territories."

According to YNet News, Jordan is echoing this threat saying that moving US Embassy to Jerusalem is a 'red line'. Jordan's government spokesman warned on Thursday of "catastrophic" repercussions if President-elect Donald Trump makes good on a campaign promise to move the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Such a move could affect relations between the US and regional allies, including Jordan, Information Minister Mohammed Momani told The Associated Press, addressing the issue publicly for the first time. An embassy move would be a "red line" for Jordan, would "inflame the Islamic and Arab streets" and serve as a "gift to extremists," he said, adding that Jordan would use all possible political and diplomatic means to try and prevent such a decision. The US considers pro-Western Jordan as an important ally in a turbulent Mideast. The Hashemite kingdom is a key member of a US-led military coalition against ISIS in neighboring Syria and Iraq, and maintains discreet security ties with Israel. Jordan also has a stake in Jerusalem, serving as custodian of Islam's third holiest shrine in the city's eastern sector. Israel captured east Jerusalem from Jordan in 1967 and annexed it to its capital. It is the home of the holiest site for Jews – the Western Wall. Momani, the Jordanian minister, said that moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem "will have catastrophic implications on several levels, including the regional situation." He said countries in the region would likely "think about different things and steps they should take in order to stop this from happening.",7340,L-4903782,00.html

By the way, doubtless you heard about the terrorist attack at a Ft. Lauderdale Florida airport on Friday, but what you may not have heard is that the terrorist was a Muslim, pictured here wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh, which is a garment made famous by the Palestinian terror leader Yassier Arafat. Also, notice that he’s holding his finger in a position common to members of ISIS.

-I would suggest that when, not if, these and the many other triggers are pulled, prophecy will be fulfilled quickly and suddenly. -There are four specific prophecies that I see as being in play today, such that they are all in concert together one with the other. -The first one is Isaiah 17 concerning Syria, which I see as the catalyst for the Ezekiel 38 prophecy concerning Russia and Iran.

-In concert with the Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38 prophecies there’s the Zechariah 12 prophecy and Daniel 9:27 prophecy as well. -The reason I see all these prophecies in concert one with the other is because the whole world is obsessed with Jerusalem. -While I don’t know for a certainty how or even when this will all play out, I do know for a certainty that it’s even now playing out.

-Here’s the question that everyone should be asking themselves, what does everything that’s happening mean to me in 2017? -If you are a born again Christian what all of this means to you is 2017 should be the year to get serious about the things of God. -If you’re not a Christian, then what this means to you is that now is the time to make the most important decision of your life.

-I can’t think of a better way to do this than by starting off the year in partaking together and celebrating the communion table.

Luke 22:14-20 -14 When the hour had come, He sat down, and the twelve apostles with Him. 15 Then He said to them, “With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; 16 for I say to you, I will no longer eat of it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” 17 Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves; 18 for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” 19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
